Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers through street information stands and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug.
